The Australian Space Force was established along similar lines to the United States Space Force.
The force was established this year.

The Defence Space Command was established on January 18, 2022 as an Australian Defence Force integrated tri-service headquarters in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) tasked with conducting strategic space planning, as well as design, construction, maintenance and operation of space facilities. DSpC operates with personnel from theAustralian Army, the Royal Australian Navy and the RAAF together with the Australian Public Service reporting to the Chief of Air Force.
